price for lower cable to be replaced?

What is a fair price to have a lower shift cable replaced, just need a ballpark so i am not taken.

If you can't do it yourself. What does it matter. You pay what they ask.
Besides, without knowing a lot of information like what engine and drive, and year, and access, is it/was it used in salt water, who knows what a fair price is.
