hi everyone ,removed red plug from top of toon,what size are the plugs,tryed 3/8 npt but does want to start ,don't want to damage the threads ///// 2006 sun tracker party barge regency. Thanks in advance

The plastic ones i use in my 1997 Crest are: Plugs, Threaded Round, 3/8" NPT Male
Its standard pipe thread 3/8" plug. I suspect your problem is you broke the plastic one original to that boat, right? (they are bad to do that) what happens is some of the original plastic plug is still inside the toon, that prevents the new one to go in. the simplest solution is take a torch and melt the original, (careful of any wires or cables) and insert the new plug.
