Friend left this on my doorstep last week.
I DO not know how to open the dang thing!

WHo made it? When? I do know he was a fan of the Scott Atwater brand in his younger days. Flyin Scott as I recall him say.
Maybe its one of "those" ?

Is there a wee lever under the ends of the bracket ?--------One end or the other.---Right hand side as per the picture.------The middle part of the handle will flip up.-----Mercury tank for the mark 20 / mark 40 / mark 50 motors.
