Hey everyone! I am in the process of prepping the inside of my aluminum boat for a sealant like gluvit or coat-it. I am currently wire brushing the inside of the hull. Once finished should I use an aluminum etcher like a vinegar mixture then use the sealant? I am a bit lost at what the next step should be. Thanks for the help!

I would suggest a brass wire brush since it does not react. Use the gluvit or coat it on the seams and rivets...... then use zinc chromate prep and then paint. Have fun!
