Thanks again everyone....<br /><br />One of the "silver linings" to all of this is that I dont think my dad realized how many frieds he has. The week after we found out he had it, we had people stopping by the house all the time, getting letters from tons of people we know, people calling on the phone..... He actully broke down and cried because people cared.

Thats a great prayer MYTJC.....those lines right there are sooooo difficult to do. <br /><br /><br />My dad's name is AL. So far no updates.....still waiting on results so hopefully Monday. Obviously he will have these tests every 3months for awhile......but this first one is just soooo nerve racking. Thanks again to all. It really means a lot.

Just got the news today from my dad's PET scan.......thankfully there were no signs of cancer, so it appears that they got it all with the radiation.<br /><br />Its such a relief to know.....I think its been in the back of his and my mom's heads the last month or so........seeing my dad start doing some of what he enjoyed before radiation but at the same time not really knowing if he would have to start from the beginging again. It really is like a weight has been lifted off of everyone's shoulders.<br /><br /><br />So thanks once again for all the prayers......they must have helped.
