Help! I have a 1991 Johnson 9.9 and I am removing the powerhead to clean/repair the upper water tube. I have the manual and have followed all instruction without any problems. All bolts on bottom (6) and nuts/washers on top (3) came out without a problem as well. However the powerhead will not come loose. Are there more bolts/nuts someplace I am missing? Or do I just need to tap harder to break free? How aggressive can I be with prying/banging? Any trade tricks or ideas would be greatly appreciated...
Thanks, Rob

Re: Powerhead Removal

Hi Rob
First, do as the pro's do. Double and triple check to make sure you got all the fasteners. The with the palm of your hand shove/bump the flywheel side ways. This may require some gusto. First one way then the other. I would hate to admit how many times I thought I had all the nuts and bolts out.
