This is post number 10K for me and I wanted to take just a second to shoot out a BIG THANKS.
A few years back I was looking hard for a boat but couldn't find a thing even close to my budget. So, I bumped my way through the world wide interweb and found my way here. That's when I found out that I could actually drag home a piece of garbage and rebuild the whole thing - just the way I wanted, what a concept!
While working through my projects I've met some really cool cats here. You guys have helped me in huge ways! I've received invaluable advice on engine work, electrics, mechanicals, paint, hull, and well, everything else boat build related. Many of you have chipped in with great ideas that helped to bring shape to my old riveted tubs. Most of you harass me to no end (which just indicates that you really luv me
). You guys have nudged me along and have helped keep me accountable to the projects end, excellent! These past couple years have also been the darkest and scariest of all my days with my son Ethan's brain surgery and the passing of my mother. Many of you have been a great support even offering up prayers on my family's behalf. Very awesome.
For these things mentioned, and much more, thank you. You guys seriously rock
