I have twin 175 suzuki on my boat. When i turn my 2 battery switches on the motors start triming up by themselves and wont stop till they hit cutoff point. Anyone with this experience?

Re: Power trim

You need to disconnect some of the wiring and chase it down with a meter, probably in the switches or wiring itself.
I take it you have the set up where you can work both T&T with one switch or one at a time.

You located down in Matagorda TX?
I went to high school while living outside Wadsworth

I lived there back in the late 60s early 70s, graduated high school in '71
Glenn Hannusch is my name, I have a sister Susan that still lives there. She is married to Doug Ryman

I would not have thought the switch on one motor would cause both to raise like that, but what do I know. Maybe if the switch to operate both is in that position it would link them together.
Your house on the river or in town?
