power trim

I just bought a used 1991 sweetwater pontoon with a 60 mariner motor on it. It seems the power trim won't raise all the way up. It goes up a quarter of the way, then two mins. later it goes all the down again. I don't hear leaks. Is there something I need to fill or a place to adjust this?? thanks!

It sounds like the trim release screw is not tight or has a bad o-ring on it

thanks..where is the release screw located? is it the big one you can screw with your hand at the very bottom? where can i get a manual from? All this is new for us...this is our first pontonn...thanks!!
