Happy Sunday all...I have a 2018 Tahoe Q5I. Did all the pre-storagere quirements last fall, back it in the garage...Pulled it out yesterday. Back it into the water fired right up, no problem...EXCEPT the trim won't budge. It is stuck in the up position. Pulled it back out, put the charger on to ensure good voltage...The pump actuates, but no joy on movement. Checked and added more fliud still no movement...attempted to assist it nothing...

Suggestions??

Thanks

Have someone stand on the drive while you trim down. If still nothing bounce gently until it trims in

Work around for the future is relieve the pressure once the drive reaches full up/out position. Bump it down once quick and your set

The pump activates, but the trim don't move...do I rebuild the lift arms or replace the pump?

Is it possible that there is a flip down support on the outdrive to keep it up during transport that you forgot to flip up? Or some other obstruction in the way?

TEAM, After everything else I tried failed...I decided it was time to attempt one more trouble shooting attempt before i conducted a rebuild on the trim cylinders...
1. Removed the upper hydraulic line and hit the trim switch...Oil moved...(pump is working) reconnected them.
2. Removed one of the lower lines releiving pressure and the motor lowered...reconnected that line and hit the trim switch and guess what...

Yup you guessed it...everything works...topped of the fluid and we are boating...

Thanks for all the responses..

SAFE BOATING!!!
