Hi guys. Alpha 1 gen 1 outdrive. The drive creeps down fairly quickly and I continually have to bump it back up. It will actually creep down on the trailer just by gravity. Do I have a check valve in the hydraulic system bad?

I would see this as the cylinders needing new seals. Fluid is leaking past the piston in the cylinder. Rebuild the cylinders is fairly cheap and easy enough

Second on cylinders needing rebuild or replacement. Corrosion will determine what is the best choice.

Possibly. But the valve is inside the pump body. If it is the cause, you need to either have enough knowledge of hydraulic pumps to be able to strip it and repair it, or you need to replace the pump.

Try resealing the cylinders first and if that doesn't fix it, it's the pump...

Ah yes, the cylinder seals may be leaking by. That is more probable. Thanks
