I have a 40hp Force...Power tilt goes down okay, but will not go up. What could be some of the problems?<br /><br />Thanks guys, I swapped out both relays and it works like a charm. This forum is great!!
Relay or switch would be my first guesses. Are you hearing any clicking when you trim up? Try swapping the relays. If the problem switches, then it's a relay.
Might be simpler than a relay. If yours is set up like mine, there is a pull apart connection between the switch and the tilt unit. Check that for corrosion or contact for both wires.
