Power tilt issues

The power tilt was working fine up until yesterday.
Now the power tilit will not go up or down, but the motor is running...
Any help would be great.ITS A 1973 MERCRUISER 120/140 SORRY NEW TO ALL OF THIS

Might help if you tell us what you have.

well you need to get yourself a DMM and start with the tilt/trim switch and work your way back

Have you checked the fluid level in the pump?
