power tilt and trim

i have a 1985 85hp forces motor.. when i am running my trim doesnt stay up .. i know some motors have a screw that releases the trimso it stays down i dont know if this motor has it or not.. i dont see any fluid leaking any where ...

You may have tilt only, not trim. Hard to tell without more info.

I have an 85 Johnson that has tilt only, it will not hold the motor up if I go faster than idle. It's not made to hold against the pressure.

When the boat is parked, will the motor stay up when you raise it up?

it has 3 pistons .. and no it take time for it to go down

the first time i took it out this year it went up and stayed up for about 15 mins then i slowed down and it only went up and stayed up at low rpm
