Power Tilt and Trim Refill

I need a good way of purging/refilling my power trim and titl system. I has to repace the motor and made the mistake of manually lowering the engine with the motor off and most of the fluid spilled out. It is a 1989 mercury 100HP. from what i can tell it is some sort of cross between and 3 ram desing I and II system. I have the fill spout of the Design I system but the trim motor looks more like the desing II system. Anyway i know where the fill is but what is the best way of filling it and purging it. Thanks in advance for your help.
