before you do too much ...

14awg stranded copper is fine in a 36" length.

disconnect motor from relay box. hook your voltmeter (+) to the blue and (-) to the green wire.
with switch up your should read 12.6V. with switch down you should read -12.6V. with switch off you should read 0V.
If you get these reading then start looking for a faulty or corroded connection in the high amp cables.
If you do not get the readings then start looking for wiring faults in the switch cabling.

Thank you all for the help i went out and bought 10g conectors and installed a fuse it. Also turns out i needed a new battery it works like a charm thanks again for all the help

This is the first time I have ever done all my own work I just did the impellor as well. It is rewarding seeing it all come together and I am sure I have saved myself a ton of cash thanks again
