Power steering only one way??

I have a 2002 Glastron with a 5.7 motor and an Alpha One drive that only has power steering when turning port side. What is going on? I pulled the pin on the end of the teleflex cable and it moves freely. The level is fine in the power steering pump. So does that mean the cable is fine and because the power steering works going port side does that mean the pump is okay?

Sounds like there may be some trash in the valve only functioning one direction.

There is a grease fitting on the valve, fairly close to where the cable ties into the power steering ram.
