Power Steering Fluid for 2003 3.0L Merc w/ Alpha One

Hi,

I just bought a used 2003 Sea Ray 176 w/ 3.0L Merc Alpha One stern drive on the cheap. It did not come with any manuals.

Power steering fluid level is very low. What is the recommended power steering fluid for this engine? Is it best to check level when engine is cold or hot?

ATF Dex/Merc

there is a level indicator on the dipstick for hot and cold levels
