Very clean Corbin. How about the engine?

I just bought this boat and slowly getting it looking better its a fun and addictive project for me Lol. The motor is a 1971 460. thats pretty much all i know about it. ive just started my interier makeover everything is taken out, im doing this on a low budget so im going to try and make it cool as possible.

I haven't been here for a very long time. I would like to know if anyone has any pics of a 78 - 79 Sleekcraft 36 ft Commadore or Commander? They made them in both names.

Nice project. And a triple axle trailer. Where are you going to start?

Most likely start out going over everything on the trailer for safety lights, electical connections and the surge brake system. For the Sleekcraft we are still in the planning stages, if we are to put it back to all original, classic style of the era, or a modded build and to what extent, from mild to wild.It is for sure a restoration project but we are looking foward to it.

Hey Guys
I've been spending most of my time over on the Aristocraft section and also the Restoration threads. Man vs Boat is pretty entertaining. You really do learn so much here.
Anyway it dawned on me I also own a Sleekcraft. So I came over here to see whats going on. I didn't see that many outboard Sleeks so I thought I'd bring up the numbers.

I'm only the second Owner. I bought her in 1998. In 2007 I put in new carpet, rebuilt the seats, new upholstery and totally tricked out the trailer. The wife and I used it all summer then I melted a couple pistons and that was the end. The poor girl has been sitting all covered up while I've been restoring my Aristocraft. It should be done for summer. After which I will start working on the Sleek. I am building a Johnson 235 to replace the 175. The lake we go to is 4000 ft. elv. so she needs alot of motor to fly!!!!!

I am curious as to why there are so many different Enforcers out there. Mine is an 88 with a 300 V8 outboard. I have been looking at another one that looks like mine but the driver is on the left side not the right side like mine. Also some have 3 windows and mine has 2. Were they built as the customers wanted? I think I got a great deal paying only $4000.00 for this.. What do you think?
