and here I used to unhook my boat when I wasn't towing it to the lake. It is obviously a lifesaving tool.

Actually, if you wear it that way, you can sit in the water at the right height to drink beer or do repairs on your dock. It may look funny, but it works!

Very true! Can't believe somebody hasn't come out with one specifically designed to be worn like that for the reasons you mentioned.

I thought I saw an article on that boat. I believe it said it was used to smuggle drugs across the English Channel.
