ditto the Excellent Time!

I tried to post last PM my great experience meeting All the FINE FOLKS at
this deal, but the new board rejected it.

A HUGE Thanks to Roscoe and The Gang for great conversation. Very cool
people!

Hope we can do it again next year.

We had a great time. :)
Even the rain Sat afternoon just gave us an excuse to get together and eat popcorn and drink beer! 8)
A BIG thanks to Roscoe for organizing the fun.
Looking forward to doing it again next year.

Agreed here as well. Had a blast meeting everyone. A big thanks to roscoe for setting up everything and choosing an excellent location. I enjoyed the company, location, and the whole ordeal. I, too, am looking forward to having another one next year.

Even got to see some Wiaconsin white tails, and a baby black bear that was really scary!

Things went great!!! It was a great pleasure to meet everyone. But somehow I knew everyone was going to be fun, we are all boating people. Sorry I crashed a little early, but I have to blame GF. (Or someone).)

Hats off to roscoe, great planning and execution, we can hardly wait for next year when we can make the whole weekend.8)

Special thanks to Javsam and wife, a morning without coffee is a morning worth sleeping threw....

Had a great time! I was a bit sore the next day though, from all the wakeboarding I did friday/saturday.

I had a blast as well and also want to thank Roscoe for putting this together. My count was 10 iboaters which would be the largest get together in history. The story about the curtian rod and gerbil will be locked in memory for some time. I just got back from Cass Lake fishing with Gonfishn and his brother. We caught some fish however the bite was real slow. Bummer he lost a 250 dollar fishing rig to a Northern Pike.

Re: Post Wisconsin iboaters Shindig Check In

Yes, all went well.

Thanks for the thanks, but not needed.
All I did was pick a place to go camping, post a few links, and let you all know you could stop by if you wanted. You guys and gals made it the good time that it was.

Amazingly, with nothing planned out, and everyone just playing it by ear, it went surprisingly well.

My plans were to fish and boat a little, talk and laugh a lot. And thats just the way it worked out. :)

Head count was:
29 people (12 iboat members)
5 dogs
2 coons
1 bear

There were no major problems, except Speedwagon slapping the water with his head, and a pain in the arse park ranger.

Happy to have met all of you.
Wish we would have had more time, as it was hard to visit with everyone.

Reminder to all for next year: print out driving directions well in advance, just in case the iboats site goes down. :)

Don't you mean... "Reminder to EE for next year..."

:^

I had my Mapquest instructions, but was planning on printing yours out before I left....Woops

How is it possible that I didn't meet Pointer and Speedwagon!? Pointer --- did you help me at the dock when the girls got off my boat to take a peebreak? Now that I think about it, someone with a small golden retriever helped me out - I didn't think about it at the time, but that might have been you. If it was... thanks for the help!!

Re: Post Wisconsin iboaters Shindig Check In

EE, you weren't the only one that didn't print the directions.

Speedwagon was camped directly across from you, site 8, red Ford Ranger, military haircut. :) He was hanging out with Sanger and was boating with him.
And Pointer was next to you with the pop-up camper and the Ford Bronco.

Now you know what I meant when I said ........ "Wish we would have had more time, as it was hard to visit with everyone."

Now, will someone tell me how to use the "Quote" feature?
I don't see a quote button.

Re: Post Wisconsin iboaters Shindig Check In

Joel It looks a lot like the old one. If you log in as muskyone and cant get in they will send you your password. That password probably wont work. They will provide a link on the email so you can change the password. That new password they send should let you get in under your old user name. It wont let me in is a good name however.

With photoshop I can add a few more fingers to your waving at gonfishn when he took our pictures.

Cool Joel, 200 ponies to gallup across the water!!!
Looks better on the computer than on the cell phone.

I'll bet the wife will want a ride in that one.

Now, how did you manage to post the picture?
