I was out in the garage this afternoon servicing the generator in preparation for the next one. 10 days without power for Wilma, 4 days for Katrina and going back a few years 23 days for Andrew. Thank god for Coleman lanterns, gas stoves, gas hot water, flashlights and candles. We played solitaire, dominoes, charades and read books. I snuck in some time getting hurricane shutters up & down, hunting gasoline, feeding and caring for the generator, trimming trees and wondering if we will be able to find a contractor to deal with the pool screen enclosure within a year.<br /><br />As a P.S. - I got a phone quote yesterday for a 22' wide X 46' long X 12' high swimming pool screen enclosure of $22,000.00!!!!!!!!!!!
