Possible malware?

I'm getting an avast! threat blocked message on this thread in the Starcraft section... Starcraft islander resto..... where to stop

It's happening on the 2nd page of the thread.

Attached is an image of the warning. Avast! has always performed perfectly for me, so I'd like to know all is well before reporting a false positive.

Please advise. Thanks!

If I had to guess, that may be related to Chrome and Avast and a pop-up or script ad/banner.

I didnt find the Newair.org image on my cell when I scanned thru the topic on my cell.

The blocked image is the pic Watermann attached for the Jasco paint remover.

I'm installing Avast on the PC.

Viewing the suspect page and pic with Chrome/Avast. Of course it's error free. :facepalm:

I guess when a false positive report is made, they look at the blocked threat.

Okay, I reported it as a false positive. Got an auto-reply that the file will be checked on their next update.

I also cleared all my cookies and ran my malware software and found no issues. The warning came up again the next time I went to page two of the thread. Doesn't happen on page 3 though, so at least I can keep up now! :lol:
