I have just entered into the world of boating and have purchased a 5 hp johnson seahorse TN-26 1950-51.
The motor turns 390 degrees for reverse and after trying the motor in a barrel I turned it it and gas poured out all over. Now as it ran there was no sign of a gas leak what so ever! until I shut it off and spun it around is there a possible weep hole in the carb to prevent flooding??? because I did it 4 times and it leaked each time.
Thanks
Mike
