Pop Up: Script causing web browser issues

Everytime I try to scroll down or open a thread, I get this message:

"A Script on this page is causing your web browser to run slowly."

This is something new that is happening and only happens here, on this forum. If I answer "yes" stop running the script, it allows me to scroll down.

Ideas?

Not a clue, we haven't made any changes with scripts for a while. Try clearing out your cache, and temporary internet files. A virus scan is recommended as well.

If you are one of those guys that leaves the computer on all the time, shut it off and start it back up.
I know it works for me when I start getting strange things happening.

I believe it is the scripts in some of the ads that cause this. It doesn't happen all the time because the ads change.
