Have very weak stream of water flow at any speed in Suzuki DF 50. Has new (50 hours) water pump housing, impellor and shaft seal (although seal does not seem to be a really tight fit on shaft) Motor has 700 hours of saltwater use in Nicaragua. Boat stays on a mooring, so it is not flushed after every use. I do run salt away and fresh water through the water outlet (pisser) after most uses.

Can the water system be flushed with muriatic acid or something like that to flush any build up out?

sjds,

Are you sure your "telltale" is not blocked? Remove the hose, blow through it and also probe the outlet orifice.

Pull the telltale nozzle of (it will snap out) and run it for a few minuites - debris likes to collect in there.

Yes, I have removed the telltale and blow a salt away mixture back through that tube, still have very low pressure. I think there is an obstruction deeper inside that tubing network, but don't know how to remove it.
