Pontoons - Growth from being slipped...what is it?

If you can take out your combo periodically say max 2 months time from fresh or salt water scenarios and high pressure wash the hull area, poontoon tubes, etc you'll be able to clean whatever starts to be adhered much faster and with minimal effort than leaving it unattended floating for too darn long...

My pontoon has the identical deposits. I just live with it. I have tried acid and other chemicals. If I ever really want it off, it will have to be with a sander.

Mine is moored in Big Bear Lake from April through October, but previously, it was in Havasu which is where it got most of it.
