Polyester Laminating Resin Recoat Window

I'm building a floor hatch using polyester laminating resin, but don't have enough time to do the entire layup in one session. What's the maximum time I can wait between layers? Would one week be too much? I'm trying to avoid having to sand the surface between the layers. If it matters, the part will be made and stored in a warehouse that reaches 95 degreesF during the day.

Pretty sure you are okay without sanding, a good wash with Acetone should be all you need to do.

The biggest factor to consider is contaminants. If you cover the surface and don't allow dust etc...to get on the surface and then wash down with acetone, it'll be fine

Laminating resin can stay tacky for months. The whole reason for the tack is that NO prep is needed. Dust collects on the tack and wiping with acetone is counter productive in that regard. IF you feel inclined to wipe with anything, styrene will give much better adhesion due to chemistry.
