Two washed up "superstars" conspire to get their names in the paper by circumventing those rules to their own benefit with no regard for the people watching. Do you really want the "right" to help them do that?<br /><br />The other is trying to remove a popular tradition to potentially limit something that potentially might offend some group who is more than likely not offended.<br /><br />I even find JB's comment suspicious. Is he suggesting that because there is an alternative that we shouldn't care? I am probably again "reading more into his posts", but I am not sure what else the point could be? There are alernatives to eating pork too, but I suspect that JB likes real bacon too. And I see that comparison as completely analogous.<br /><br />Ultimately the issue is that those banks DO have the "right" to be as stupid as they want. I just sincerely hope they lose customers in droves.

Are farmers required to keep their pigs hidden from view in case a passing motorist takes offense? just don't agree, fellas.<br /><br />jtexas- i have one small girl, one little one on the way. i'm not worried about her hearing a fart on the radio. i'm much more worried about her living in a society that accepts private ownership of guns.<br /><br />i don't mean to turn this into a gun control topic, it's not that. just using it as an example. i just think our current administration is focused on the wrong things. again, what can hurt you more- hearing a bit involving farting on the radio, or a gun toting society?<br /><br />sorry for the highjack. never did like piggy banks.

I really don't get what would be offensive anyway. It's a bank, shaped as a pig, to save money. No violence, no eating the pig, no slaughter. I have an Uncle Sam bank. It is ugly, but I am not offended by it. Is anyone else?
