Just talked to the owner of the company at the Mid-Atlantic Boat Show today in Charlotte, NC. He gave me a demonstration and the whole sales pitch but I figured I would ask you all here what you think of it (if you've heard of it or tried it) before laying down my $60 for the kit.

Seems like it might be just the thing for my 73 Glassmaster.

Hey Bill,

Most, if not all of the gel coat rejuvenators do work to a certain extent. The one's on the market now are a whole lot better that just a couple years ago. The shine on your boat is lost because there are millions of microscopic pits or holes in your gel coat. They defract light. Whereas a smooth, waxed finish reflects it - there's your shine and reflection. They do work but it really all depends how picky you are on the final results.

The condition of your gel coat will dictate how agressive you need to be to return to a quality shine.
If normal cleaning and waxing is not acheiving what you want then use a compound and buffing machine then re-wax.
If that still does not get you there then research "wet sanding".I would pick one small area of boat and keep stepping it up until you figure out what works. Then do the whole boat.If you do end up wet sanding do not use anything courser then 300 to start, then finish with 600.It is a very time consuming process.Don't be alarmed if after wet sanding boat looks worse then when you started. If done properly once you finish all steps and get it back to wax it will shine like it was new.
I would spend time researching technique before starting.
BTW-this is a last option only after you tried buffing & waxing.
Good Luck!
