PLugs on pontoons

I am going to pull the drain plugs on my pontoon. Any certain sealer if any should I put on them when I put then back. Thanks

If they're nylon plugs, you shouldn't NEED anything. Some silicone or teflon tape wouldn't hurt anything though.

I never use anything on them. They are tapered pipi plugs, made of brass. Same with my boats. Just snug them up, they don't need to be as tight as some think.
