Plug Wires, Older Merc

1971 7.5 HP. Does anyone know, are the wires threaded into the coil, or pushed in? I cam afraid to pull any harder! mattsdr@cybrzn.com

The wires are pressed in. They have spread clips on the ends that can hook in there pretty good. Give 'em a good yank...<br />- Scott

Thanks Scott, The manual I looked at looked that way, and then someone told me some old Mercs had threaded wires. They are stuck pretty good. Thanks again. Don
