A report for those of you who helped me with suggestions. I had broken off a plastic drain plug in our 5.0L mercruiser while winterizing. It appears to be completely out using a combo of all your suggestions. Several different sizes of easy outs were needed to get up into the drain and used in concert with some different sized screwdrivers, it looks like it all came out. Not a neat operation where the broken piece just rotated out on the easy out but a gradual thing with pieces of blue plug falling out as we went. It doesn't look like the drain threads are boogered up. Thanks for your help. Granpa
