Yep, maybe not all but the two ive had green stuff up there under the flywheel and ive just put epoxy resin around them and put them back on and its stop any shorting out.

Maybe i caught them early. i tested the resistance readings on them and they were in spec.
Ones on my current boat, its one of the last things that would give me cause to concern out at sea

im very happy today,all four cyl showed right above 130psi on compression test. will try start it up tomorrow,it should run nicely with fresh carbs among others things. just have to get four champion l77jc4, as the engines run best on these i have been told.

...compression-test was done on cold engine.
