please need help with my jhonson 115 v4

hi i have a problem with the engine , he starts fine and keeps idle without a problem once i try to put it tu run it dies i have tried to put the rpm very hi and still die if i engage..

what have you done so far to diagnose the problem.
what year, what maintenance, how long have ya owned it, etc...
you would to well to read the sticky's at the top of this forum. they help.

did you just buy this motor? can you spin the propeller by hand when in neutral? have you checked the timing, spark and when was last time the carbs were rebuild?
