Hello I am a Senior in high school this year, and my shop project is going to be restoring my boat ( i have three shop classes so i have plenty of time everyday:p). My ultimate goal is to have it ready for the walleye fishing tournament that aren't far away from were i live. So any advice would be great

First things first, i have a "game fish twin 15hp engine, probably not the biggest motor, but i bet i could tweak it to make it run faster and smoother. any advice on this part would be GREAT!

I would like to put a live well in my boat also, any ideas on this subject? Also since i might be on a big lake i might need to put a bilge pump in there, since the waves might get a little rough

I'm going to strip the old wood out, and put new wood in and treat it with ATF( automatic transmission fluid). My father told me to do this and I'm wondering if its a good method.

I'm going to put carpet on the wood and inside also and I'm wondering were i can get the best carpet at a cheap price?:D

Since it is an old aluminum boat, were keeping the aluminum look and going to paint a shark head on the front and make it look like a old WWII plane and paint realistic bullet holes going down the side.

any ideas on making my boat sturdier and faster would be great!
