Galah is also an Oz slang word for an "empty-headed person" (another slang name is a "wally"). Hi Scouts, I have owned a pair of Galahs for 13 years. They quit breeding for me 4 years ago. They were originally imported from AU before the export ban was in place, so they are 45 to 50 years old. I know they are agriclutural pests over there, but we love them here. I have 2 young pairs that I hope will breed someday. Also have some rosellas, crimson wings, sulfer crested, goffins, and bare-eyed--little corella. I raise enough to pay the feed bills and keep my flock expanding, just a hobby. Hi Jim. I haven't set a deadline, as my focus is solely on achieving the result - the purchase of a reliable 20HP outboard for the scouts. I am very disappointed however in the lack of Australian commitment. You guys (and gals) in the USA and Canada are really showing up the Australian iboat.com forum members (sorry to the OZ readers, but this is how it stands). Let's see how May 2003 pans out.
