I just bought a used Mercury 1500, 150HP OB, serial # 7818291, Phantom black. Can anyone tell me the year? I would like to buy an owners manual, but don't know what year it is.

I think that's a 1975 off hand. Made at the Canada plant.<br /><br />You want the *service* manual. And it's the same one for all of them. <br /><br />-W
