Plastic door handles(knobs) on Pontoon Boats

I can't seem to be able to keep the plastic handle on my doors from bending ,Does anyone make a metal handle ?I changed the front door to a pull up to open ,But really don't want to do that to the side doors.

Is this what you had in mind? They're plastic with metal bracing around them.
