I was down in Cancun diving and all their boats at Aquaworld had this thin blue matting that was non skid but allowed you to wash through it to clean the deck. Anyone know where I can get something like it? It was thinner than the Dri-Deck stuff. Thanks :)

Re: Plastic Deck Mats

Don’t know what the blue mats are but they sound like bar floor mats. Also used in commercial kitchens. I have a boat I use for diving so I got a heavy duty rubber floor mat at Costco. It is designed for bar tenders/cooks to stand on all day but lets liquid fall right though it. 4ft x 3ft x 1/2in thick, filled with a honeycomb of 1/2 holes. Dropping weight belts is not an issue. I don’t drop tanks but I don’t need to be real gentle in setting them down, either. It’s firm but gives under enough weight and there is no way it can hold water. I think I pay $20 or $30 for it. You can get an idea of what they are here, first item on the web page:

http://www.acemart.com/merchant.mv?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=AM&Category_Code=F7
