Plastic deck covering and flooring

I have a 2000 Smokercraft Osprey (16 ft walk through)

The plastic covering they put over the deck is falling apart and I want to replace it. Carpet would be the cheap and easy way... to spend the rest of my life trying to get fish scales out of it.

I would like to replace it with something, but I don't know what.

The plastic has a raised anti-skid pattern in it that works well, and I would like to still have something like that as I fish year round in Oregon.

I pulled up a little of the plastic and it looks like it is just screwed down to the decking (no glue.) The decking looks like pressure treated lumber or planking to me, if that makes a difference.

Suggestions? Advice?

You could try to tear out the old and put a coating down. Ive seen people use a few diff types of coatings such as bed liner.

Yea, I was thinking about that, but it seems rather permanent. What if I need to replace a deck board some day?
