OMC your right thats it's cheaper and usually better at the local pizza shop, but that's not the point! Drive on, it's a journey for the perfect homemade pizza! :p Grant S is right , splash a little olive oil on, stay away from extra virgin it burns easily. I just spoon it on the crust prior to sause. Use freshly grated cheese, it makes a huge difference. I like 2/3 provalone and 1/3 mozzerella with a little parmesson.

i always use the pre made crust some r good others r not u got to try and find the one u like

Even though I'm the first Chicagoan to respond, I won't feed the flames by saying how much Chicago Pizza is better than New York Pizza. And don't even get me started on pizza from down-under - why can't you guys call "pepper", well, pepper, and not capsicum? ;) :p <br /><br />Do a search on "Pizza Dough" over at this site and you'll find almost 100 recipes. There's one called Pizza Dough Technique that should have the info you're looking for.
