It's more of a borrowed boat kind of idea.

Be careful. While the idea of tough sex offender laws is good, the application can be a disaster. Crude mistakes of judgment such as peeing in public, pranks like mooning or streaking, childish stuff like a teenager looking in someone's window can get them put in the "indecent exposure" or other "sex offense" box and then, even though the act had nothing whatsoever to do with sex, the person is screwed for life--registering any time he moves, disclosing on job apps, can't work with any youth organizations (coaching, youth group, etc) can't get certain jobs (teaching), can't get an apartment or into a dorm. Overkill in too many cases, causing more harm than good, because common sense has been written out of the laws and taken away from the judges.

Pissin off the boat gets you put on the sex offender list???

Good NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!

places to never live.
1.OK

Tell us more about these laws guys.

It is VERY common that peeing in public gets you put on the sex offender registry. Why do you think so many people are up in arms about the sex offender living restrictions and laws? Imagine not being able to take your daughter to school anymore because someone saw you peeing out the side of your boat?

It happens all the time! Wake up people! Not all sex offenders are child molesters! Or even touched or saw a child for that matter.

An example of this is the sexting. Basically minor shooting pictures of themselves with their cell phones and sending it. Now, police are not only enforcing this with nude photos..but even suggestive photos. I just read a case that they are pursuing charges in such an incident.

Re: Pissin the boat

On my boat, the forward livewell in built into the front of the center console and forms a seat with a cushion snapped over it. I rarely use it and the wife never even knew it was there since the cushion is always on when she's out with me.
On one little fishing trip with her, she needed to go #1 and the water was a little rough to go down into the console to use the head, (she tried and was getting banged around). She decided that she'd be better off going down the boarding ladder and getting wet.

I unsnapped the cushion, opened up the lid and turned on the water.
She probably looked at it and then back at me for about 2 minutes in disbelief.
She had a seat, did her thing and couldn't have been happier, (she was giggling and laughing so I'm assuming happiness)

I have a 3 lb coffee can, with a roll of bung fodder and a lid. If the backhouse at the ramp is out of paper, we're prepared. If ma has to pee while underway, or it's crowded, the can goes to work. Law is the can is rinsed out in the lake and allowed to roll around under the console till dry before the paper goes back into it. If inclement weather, a little paper is sacrificed to dry it out.
