Man what a mess!...sorry for all those folks up there!...wonder why, with that storm approaching, more people didn't pull their boats out of the water and move to higher ground?....

It might be that many are not there, aware or have the means to react within a week. Bad deal all around for families.... boats too.

After seeing the pics on the noreast site, it's likely that not a lot of those vessels had trailers handy.

Also, many of those boats probably were out of the water...on blocks/stands. When the water rose 13' and the boats were only 4' above the normal water level...bouyancy took over.
