Re: Pics of my new house under construction/UPDATED 03/05/07 new pics
Well since the last update I've finished all of the rough in electrical and plumbing. First time ever putting in a breaker box but it really wasn't that bad. I just followed my book and the NEC and went from there. The PEX was great to run, the manifold wasn't quite as easy. It goes together easy but its a bear to bend and make go where I wanted it. If your thinking about using it be sure and lay out exactly where you want it and make sure it'll fit. Otherwise its great, no leaks and easy to run. My wife done about 90% of the insulation with me and the MIL splitting the remaining 10%. I've got to give it to my wife as a great help. She does the menial jobs while I'm on the more technical stuff and just drives on, very little complaining on her part. We are turning out to make a prety good team. Were hiring out the A/C and drywall, plus tape and texture. Both have started in the last few days. I'll post pics of them when I can.
The house fully insulated, sorry about the blurry pic-
Breaker box fully loaded, right under it I built a place for the phone junction box which will make it easy if something goes wrong. Its wired on a homerun system (each room has its own line all the way to the junction box AND its with cat 5 wire with 6 pairs-
And the Vanguard Pex manifold-
