Some may remember, about 1yr back, I bought a 1975 F100 with a MWM 229.4 desiel in it, and decided I would have it rebuilt
Well these are the pictures I posted back then.....for those that have forgotten or joined since.

Then I tossed every fitting and replaced with "new" and this is what it looks like now.
Move to my next post.

OK, so there are the photos.

At this point, I would like to publically thank CN Spots from this board for all the help he has given me with the project. He is an absolute whizzz with cutting pictures and paste-ing wheels and tyres from brochures, and giving me a "view" of the truck before having to go buy "things" first. Thanks Spots. Very much appreciated.

John (my worker...for those that don'r know....was a mechanic)
1.has rewired the truck, sorting everything out
2. installed the new starter, steering box, put everything back together
3. spent many hours working on it for me...he actually enjoys the 'change' from the nursery work.

I have only 2 things to do before she is a runner.
I need new wheels and rubber
I need a new seat

I will ask your opinions re these 2 in a later thread.

QC (from Ca) stayed with us a couple of weeks back, and has kindly volunteered to make sure when I buy these items, they are the correct ones and they get delivered to my shipping agent in Long Beach.

Anyway chaps, that's it for the moment.
Cheers
Phillip

Looking good, had a 1974 Ford, it had chrome Ford letters in the front rather than red. It was an F-350; I put duel wheels on it, as I had rather large camper on the bed, plus it was a crew cab. Sure could have used the diesel engine, as I got about ten miles per gallon.:(

No problem. It was fun!:D Learned a bit about Australia in the process. like how hard it is to get stuff. Too many folks take that for granted these days.

Wow Phil, Henry would have been proud of you. What a beautiful transformation. Hope it serves you well and get's your new boat all the places it needs to go.

Who did the paint work and did you do it outside?

It's really funny to see that beast of yore, with a right hand drive.

Boomyal:
Got a chap that traded his paint/panel business in years back to work from home, to do the job.
The biggest mistake I made was attempting to work on the body, although John did most of it. I should have just paid the extra 'grand' and had the pro do it all.

QC:
I will definitely be back, as i not only need wheels and tyres, but a 40/20/40 seat, and seeing I'm up for a bit of shipping, I have been wondering about an outboard...like an e-tec....or something....around the 70hp.....mind you, that idea I have not mentioned to Anita as yet...might not either.
I have opened a thread on the wheels to see if I can get some fresh ideas, so will make a decision soon.

For all the rest...left hooks look strange to us.
