Removed foam early in the morning. Filled up boat with water, about 8 inches. Right away found 3 leaking rivets up front, 4 rivets down the middle, 1 hole in the center lower part of boat. Also found water coming out of Livewell port next to the boat drain. The last leak I found was pissing through the transom. Transom leak was right at the center, couldn't see the hole because the engine tilt and trim bracket was covering it. Right now I feel like not continuing with the project. I will have to lift the boat off the trailer to fix leaking rivets, get the crack welded and remove the engine to inspect the transom. Roughly how much time and $$$ will I need to continue. Pls help experts. See pics.

zero $ get a friend to hold a 2lb hammer on the back (tail)of the leaking rivet while you hit the head with a hammer 4-5 good wacks should swell it up to stop the leak. also the last picture remove the jb weld and fix that properly, if you have to pay a welder do that.

So should I start removing the engine and get ready for a transom repair?

Only if you are up to the task! If so what are you waiting for?

Both would be nice but not absolutely necessary. How big of an outboard was on it?
