Went today and looked at a penn Yan 1991 269 Legacy with a 350 mercruiser inboard straight drive inboard (Not tunnel drive). The boat looked like the front was sinking and the stern was sticking up in the air. The owner said that is the way they float. Went for a ride and it rode good but the owner didn't want to go over 3500 rpm and the bow didn't really come up in the water, although it ran good thru the waves we hit head on. Anybody have any info on these boats? I really liked the room in it and the fact it was single screw for the economy.
