I have a 92 60hp Johnson that runs fine but all of a sudden after running full throttle for a while the pre stream stops. If I pull of the throttle it will come back. Any ideas?
Have you installed a new impeller ?-------------Do you know how old your impeller is ?-------------Has the tell tale hose been moved from side of the block to the top as per a service bulletin in 1994 ?-----What type of boat is the motor on ?
What is the height of the transom ?----Does it change the same if motor is trimmed down a bit ?------Sounds to me that it could be sucking air into the water intake.------Bad / expensive things can happen.-------Have you tested the overheat horn ??
Overheat horn works, that's what told me this was happening. It's all of a sudden. Run the boat every weekend for 3 years and this started last weekend out of nowere. Did run the big motor through some milfoil is it possible I clogged the intake?
