PDS Rear Seal, Procedure to remove & replacel

Pulled PDS on 83 Bayliner Capri 1950, 270 outdrive with AQ125A, What is a good procedure for removing and replacing the rear seal. I suppose, somehow, someway I could yank the seal out, but what is really bothering me is how to put the new seal back in place. The existing seal, from what I can see, appears to be good, however, in anticipation of the worst have a new one on its way and while I'm into it this far, I would like to replace the rear seal.

Don, of what manual do you speak, neither of mine have anything on overhauling the flywheel hsg? Also, if you would be so kind, need a source for the water resistant grease mentioned under procedure #248. Checked with Volvo Parts and they offer nothing in a grease gun catridge, which I think is a little dumb.

Just use a good marine grease for the bearings.
